Steps
- Log in to Zapier, click "Create," and select "Zaps" to start a new automation.
- Click "Trigger" and select Trello as the trigger app.
- Choose a trigger event such as "New Card," "Card Updated," or "Card Moved."
- Authorize Zapier to access your Trello account by logging in.
- Select the Trello board and list you want to monitor for changes.
- Run a test to ensure Zapier detects activity in the selected Trello board.
- Add Slack as the action app in your Zap.
- Choose a Slack action event such as "Send Channel Message" or "Send Direct Message."
- Connect your Slack account to Zapier.
- Choose the Slack channel or user to receive the Trello updates.
- Run a test to verify that Trello changes trigger the correct Slack notifications.
- Once the test passes, turn on your Zap to activate the automation.
