Integrate Notion and Slack for team collaboration via Zapier

Steps

1. Log in to Zapier, click "Create," and select "Zaps" to begin building your automation.
2. Click "Trigger" and search for Notion to select it as the trigger app.
3. Choose a trigger event — such as "New Database Item" or "Updated Database Item" — to define when Slack notifications should fire.
4. Authorize Zapier to access your Notion account.
5. Select the specific Notion database you want Zapier to monitor for changes.
6. Run a test to confirm that Zapier successfully detects changes in your Notion database.
7. Add Slack as the action app in your Zap.
8. Choose an action event — such as "Send Channel Message" or "Send Direct Message" — to set how notifications are delivered.
9. Authorize Zapier to access your Slack account.
10. Enter the Slack channel name where notifications should be posted.
11. Run a test to verify that Notion updates successfully trigger Slack notifications.
12. Once the test passes, turn on your Zap to activate the Notion–Slack integration.
