1. Inside your n8n workflow, click the 'Add' button to create a new step.
2. After that, head over to the right-hand panel and click 'Data Transformation'.
3. Subsequently, tap the 'Edit Fields (Set)' node.
4. Now, it's time to set up the selected node. To get started, select your preferred mapping mode.
5. Following that, configure the corresponding settings according to your liking. Since Manual Mapping is selected in this tutorial, click 'Add Field' to set the fields manually.
6. Get the name of the Field you want to edit, then type it into the Name entry box. Refer to the details in the input panel for accuracy.
7. Subsequently, click the menu below it and select the data type for the chosen field.
8. Lastly, tap the third input field and type the new value to replace the default entry.
9. If you want to edit more fields, click the 'Add Field' button and repeat the same procedure.
10. You may also switch on the toggle button if you wish to include other available input fields.
11. Tap the 'Add Option' afterwards if you want to personalize the node further.
12. Once done, click 'Execute Step' to proceed.
13. Finally, the newly configured Set (now Edit Fields) node will be activated in your n8n workflow.
