How to Use Talking Photo in HeyGen

Use this interactive demo to learn how to use the Talking Photo feature in HeyGen.

Using the talking photo feature in HeyGen allows you to animate a static image into a speaking avatar with automatic lip sync.

Log in to your HeyGen account and go to your dashboard.
Click Photo to video from the available options on the main screen.
Upload your photo image or choose an existing avatar/photo.
Add your text script on the left panel where it says “Type or paste your script here.”
Select a voice option from the voice dropdown below the script box.
Click Generate button to process the talking photo.
Wait for the video processing to complete, then review and download your talking photo.
