This demo shows how to set up a Notion planner using the built-in calendar view, configured as a weekly layout so you can schedule and track tasks day by day. In just a few steps, you can create a fully functional weekly planner in Notion without any third-party tools.
Steps
- Create a new page in Notion and open the three dotted menu at the bottom of the page.
- Select the Calendar template from the available options to use it as the base for your planner.
- On your new calendar page, open the three dotted menu in the top right corner.
- Click on Layout to access the display settings.
- Click on Show calendar as to expand the view options.
- Select Week to switch the calendar to a weekly planner view.
- Close the menu to return to your calendar.
- Use the (+) icon on any day to start adding items to your weekly planner.
- Fill in item details such as name, comments, and tags, then click anywhere outside to close the entry form.
- Your weekly planner is now ready — review the finished layout inside Notion.
