Linear’s API tokens allow you to authenticate and interact with the Linear API to automate workflows, integrate with other tools, and manage issues programmatically. Here’s how to use them:
- Navigate to your profile icon.
- Select 'Settings'.
- Click 'Security & access'.
- Go to the 'Personal API keys'.
- Click on 'New API key'.
- Click the API key field and enter a name for your API.
- Click 'Create' to proceed.
- A notification pops up once the API key has been generated successfully.
