How to Use Linear's API Tokens
Linear’s API tokens allow you to authenticate and interact with the Linear API to automate workflows, integrate with other tools, and manage issues programmatically. Here’s how to use them:
Navigate to your profile icon.
Select 'Settings'.
Click 'Security & access'.
Go to the 'Personal API keys'.
Click on 'New API key'.
Click the API key field and enter a name for your API.
Click 'Create' to proceed.
A notification pops up once the API key has been generated successfully.
