Quick summary
The Linear-Jira integration lets teams sync issues between both platforms by entering Jira API credentials directly in Linear's Settings. Once connected, work tracked in Jira is visible inside Linear, eliminating manual cross-tool updates.
Steps
- On Linear's main dashboard, tap the Profile tab in the top-left corner.
- Click Settings to proceed.
- Choose Integrations from the options under Features.
- Find and select Jira from the integrations list.
- Click Enable to initiate the integration process.
- Select Default Setup afterwards.
- Enter your Jira API Access Token, Email Address, and Hostname into their respective input fields.
- Click Connect to apply the changes.
- Your Jira account is now integrated with Linear.
