How to Use Find and Recode in Xero

It is very easy to use Find and Recode in Xero. Here’s a quick tutorial on how to do it in simple steps:

  1. On Xero's main dashboard, go to the top menu bar and click 'Accounting'.
  2. Choose 'Advanced' from the list of options.
  3. After that, select 'Find and Recode'.
  4. Tap the 'Find and Recode' button once again to proceed.
  5. Following that, tap the 'Filter' menu and choose your preferred option.
  6. Subsequently, click 'Add a Condition'.
  7. Pick one from the available choices.
  8. Next, configure the condition based on your preference.
  9. Once done, tap 'Search' to continue.
  10. Tick the checkbox beside the item you wish to recode.
  11. After that, tap 'Recode'.
  12. Specify how you wish to recode the given fields. Simply provide your desired revisions and enter them into their respective input fields.
  13. Once done, click 'Review'.
  14. Tap 'Confirm' afterwards to proceed.
  15. After completing these steps, your new inputs will be saved and applied instantly.
