How To Use Figma With Cursor

To use the Figma integration, you need to make sure the server is active and authenticated within your settings.

1. Open the Cursor application on your computer.
2. Click File from the toolbar, and select Preferences.
3. Select Cursor Settings from the submenu.
4. Click on the Tools & MCP (or just MCP) tab in the sidebar.
5. Ensure the status indicator is Green, which means the server is active and connected.
6. Once the connection is green, you can start using it in the Chat (Ctrl + L) or Composer (Ctrl + I).
7. Copy the link to a specific Figma frame and paste it into the chat.
8. Prompt the chat, saying something like "Implement this design using React and Tailwind."
9. Run it by pressing Enter on your keyboard.
10. Review the result, and if everything looks good, then you're done.
