To use the Figma integration, you need to make sure the server is active and authenticated within your settings.
- Open the Cursor application on your computer.
- Click File from the toolbar, and select Preferences.
- Select Cursor Settings from the submenu.
- Click on the Tools & MCP (or just MCP) tab in the sidebar.
- Ensure the status indicator is Green, which means the server is active and connected.
- Once the connection is green, you can start using it in the Chat (Ctrl + L) or Composer (Ctrl + I).
- Copy the link to a specific Figma frame and paste it into the chat.
- Prompt the chat, saying something like "Implement this design using React and Tailwind."
- Run it by pressing Enter on your keyboard.
- Review the result, and if everything looks good, then you're done.
