Cursor can help you generate, edit, and improve code while building a website by using its AI coding features.

  1. Open the Cursor editor and sign in to your account.
  2. Click "File" and select "Open Folder" to create or open your project folder.
  3. Create a new file such as index.html or a project using frameworks like React or Next.js.
  4. Open the AI Chat panel from the right sidebar of the editor.
  5. Ask Cursor to generate HTML code for a website, or paste your own code into the chat.
  6. Use Cursor AI to improve styling, add features, or fix errors in your website code.
  7. Open the folder containing the HTML file, double-click index.html, and view it in your browser to test the website.
  8. Now you have successfully created a basic website using Cursor.
