Use this interactive demo to learn how to utilize the Cursor Agent mode.

‍

‍

Agent Mode allows Cursor to autonomously browse your codebase, run terminal commands, and edit multiple files to complete complex tasks. It is best used for scaffolding new projects or fixing multi-file bugs.

‍

  1. Open the Cursor desktop application on your computer.
  2. Press Cmd + I (Mac) or Ctrl + I (Windows/Linux) to launch the Composer interface.
  3. In the Composer window, toggle the mode from "Normal" to Agent.
  4. Now that you have the Agent active, type an instruction.
