How to Use Coda’s API for Custom Integrations

‍

‍

The simplest way to use Coda’s API for custom integrations is to generate API tokens for your account. Here’s a quick guide on how to do it:

‍

  1. On Coda's main dashboard, head over to the top-right corner and click your 'Profile' icon.
  2. Choose 'Account Settings' from the list of options.
  3. After that, scroll down to the API Settings section and click 'Generate API Token'.
  4. Come up with a unique API Token name, then enter it into the provided input field.
  5. Tap the 'Add a Restriction' if you wish to specify the coverage of your API access and set some parameters.
  6. Once done, tap 'Generate API Token'.
  7. Tap 'Copy Token' afterwards and save the key for future use.
  8. After completing these steps, the newly generated Coda API Token will be activated. Use this key to connect your Coda account with apps that support such integration structures.
