Coda's API token feature lets you connect your Coda workspace to external apps and tools by generating a secure, named key directly from Account Settings. Once generated, you can apply access restrictions and copy the token to authenticate any supported custom integration.
Steps
- On Coda's main dashboard, head to the top-right corner and click your Profile icon.
- Choose Account Settings from the dropdown list of options.
- Scroll down to the API Settings section and click Generate API Token.
- Enter a unique API Token name into the provided input field.
- Optionally, tap Add a Restriction to specify the scope of your API access and set parameters.
- Click Generate API Token to confirm and create the token.
- Tap Copy Token and save the key securely for future use.
- Your new Coda API Token is now active — use it to connect Coda with any app that supports this integration structure.
