Use this interactive demo to learn how to publish Canva designs directly inside Buffer posts.

Quick summary

Buffer's Canva integration lets you design and add visuals to social media posts without leaving the Create Post panel. You can browse Canva templates, customize them, and attach the finished design to a Buffer post in just a few clicks.

Steps

  1. Inside Buffer's Create Post panel, click the 'Design With Canva' icon located just below the upload tab.
  2. Browse the available selections under the Design tab and choose a template based on your preference.
  3. Use the provided customization tools in the workspace to make any desired adjustments to your design.
  4. Once done, click 'Add to Buffer' at the top-right corner to attach the design to your post.
  5. The selected Canva design will now be added to your Buffer post and ready to schedule or publish.

📌 Why this matters

Buffer's native Canva integration eliminates the need to switch between tools when creating visually engaging social media content. Marketers and social media managers can design, customize, and attach Canva graphics to scheduled posts directly inside the Buffer Create Post panel. This streamlines the content creation workflow, reducing time-to-publish and ensuring brand-consistent visuals across all social channels. For teams managing multiple accounts, the ability to design and queue posts in one place is a significant productivity advantage.
