To disable comments in WordPress, follow these steps:
- Head to your WordPress dashboard and click on 'Settings' in the sidebar to get started.
- Now, select 'Discussion' from the settings menu. This is where all comment controls live.
- Scroll down and uncheck 'Allow people to submit comments on new posts' to disable comments site-wide.
- Don't forget to hit 'Save Changes' at the bottom to lock in your settings.
