This demo walks you through how to translate Google Slides to Spanish using Google Docs' built-in Translate document feature. By copying slide text into Google Docs and using the Tools menu, you can generate a full Spanish translation in seconds.
Steps
- Highlight the text you want to translate on your Google Slides canvas.
- Right-click on the highlighted text to open the context menu.
- Click Copy from the dropdown menu to copy the selected text.
- Go to Google Docs and paste the text you want to translate.
- In the top menu, click Tools.
- Select Translate document from the dropdown menu.
- In the translate document panel, open the Choose a language dropdown.
- Select Spanish from the language dropdown menu.
- Click the Translate button to generate the translated document.
- Copy the translated text from the new Google Docs document.
- Go back to your slide canvas and replace the original text with the translated Spanish text.
- Your slide content will now be fully translated into Spanish.
