How to Transfer Posts from One Blog to Another WordPress

Here’s how to do it:

1. Start by logging into your source site's admin dashboard and clicking "Tools" on the sidebar.
2. Click "Export" to begin gathering your content for the transfer.
3. Select what to export—posts, pages, or all content. For this transfer, we'll focus on posts.
4. Use filters like category, author, or date to refine your selection if needed.
5. Click "Download Export File".
6. Open your destination site's wp-admin, navigate to "Tools," and select "Import”.
7. Find "WordPress" in the importer options and click "Run Importer" to proceed.
8. Upload the XML file you exported earlier from your source site.
9. Click "Import" to finish the transfer.
