To achieve this action, follow these steps:

1. Head to your WordPress dashboard and look for the 'Sites' section, click on it.
2. Navigate to the site you prefer and click the ellipsis icon.
3. Select 'Settings' from the list.
4. Scroll down and find the 'Site Visibility' option.
5. Toggle it to 'Private' or 'Coming Soon' to hide your site from the public temporarily.
6. Hit 'Save' and you're done. Your site is now temporarily offline, and you can bring it back anytime with a single click.
