This tutorial shows how to sync Freshping monitoring alerts to Discord by building a Zap in Zapier. You will configure a Freshping webhook trigger, connect your Discord account, and publish the automation so alerts post directly to your chosen server.
Steps
- Head over to the left-side panel and click Create.
- Select Zaps from the list of options.
- Click the Trigger tab to start the integration process.
- Search for Freshping and choose it from the recommended matches.
- Specify your preferred Trigger Event.
- Click Continue to proceed.
- Tap the Copy button next to the provided Webhook URL and paste it into the Webhook page of your Freshping account.
- Choose the record you wish to sync, then click Continue With Selected Record.
- Search for Discord and select it as the Action app.
- Tap the drop-down menu and pick the specific Action Event you wish to execute.
- Tap Sign In and log into your active Discord account.
- Select the Discord server you wish to use, then click Continue.
- Tick the checkbox beside the permissions you want to allow, then tap Authorize to proceed.
- Fill out the input fields one by one with the required integration information.
- Click Continue to publish and enable the integration.
- Your Freshping account is now synced to Discord based on your configuration.
