Quick summary
This demo walks you through building a Zapier automation that syncs Facebook Messenger messages directly to a Discord channel without any coding. By connecting both apps through a Zap, every new Messenger event triggers an action in Discord automatically.
Steps
- Head over to the left-side panel and click Create.
- Select Zaps from the list of options.
- Click the Trigger tab to start the integration process.
- Search for Facebook Messenger and choose it from the suggested results.
- Specify your preferred Trigger Event.
- Tap Sign In and log into your active Facebook account.
- Click Save to accept the terms and grant the necessary permissions.
- Provide the information needed to configure the Trigger accordingly.
- Click Continue to run your input and test the Trigger.
- Choose the specific record you wish to use and click Continue With Selected Record.
- Search for Discord and choose it as the Action app.
- Tap the drop-down menu and pick the specific Action Event you want to execute.
- Click Sign In and log into your active Discord account.
- Specify the Discord server you prefer to use and click Continue.
- Tick the checkbox beside the permissions you intend to grant and click Authorize.
- Fill out the input fields with the required details associated with the integration.
- Tap Continue to publish and enable the integration.
- Your Facebook Messenger is now synced to Discord based on your configured input.
