This demo shows how to sync Discord events with Google Calendar by building a Zap in Zapier that automatically creates calendar entries whenever a new Discord event is scheduled. Setting up this automation eliminates manual data entry and keeps your team's schedule aligned across both platforms.
Steps
- From your Zapier dashboard, select Zap to start building a new automation.
- Click on the Trigger field to begin selecting your trigger event source.
- Search and select GitHub as your trigger app in the app search field.
- Choose a specific trigger event from the available options in the dropdown.
- Configure the trigger details and click Continue to proceed.
- Click Test trigger to verify the trigger is working correctly.
- Search and select Google Calendar as the action app.
- Select the action event that Google Calendar should perform when the trigger fires.
- Connect your Jira Software Cloud account to authorize the integration.
- Configure the event details and click Continue to move to the next step.
- Click Test step to confirm the action runs successfully.
- Once the test is successful, click Publish to activate your Zap and go live.
