Quick summary
Showing totals in Power BI lets analysts surface aggregated row and column sums directly inside a table visual, giving stakeholders instant data context without additional calculations. You can enable this in seconds through the Visualizations pane Format section.
Steps
- Select your table visual and open the Visualizations pane.
- Inside the Visualizations pane, navigate to the Format section.
- Locate and select the Totals option within the Format section.
- Enable Totals to activate the total row and display the total in Power BI.
