How to Restart Tax Return in TurboTax

You can completely reset your return using Clear & Start Over. Here’s how to do it:

1. Access your TurboTax account.
2. On the left menu, click "Tax Tools".
3. Click on "Tools" to open up your options.
4. Find and select "Clear & Start Over" from the list to begin the reset process.
5. Click "I want to clear my tax data" to move forward with clearing everything.
6. Confirm by clicking "Yes, clear my tax data" this wipes your data clean and lets you start fresh.
