How to Resize Images for Different Platforms in Buffer

‍

‍

It is very easy to resize images for different platforms in Buffer. Here’s a quick tutorial on how to do it:

‍

  1. Inside Buffer's Create Post panel, find the image you want to resize and tap its 'Edit' icon.
  2. After that, click 'Crop'.
  3. Select your preferred aspect ratio from the available options. Make sure that it is optimized for the social media platform where you intend to publish the post.
  4. Alternatively, you may adjust the image size manually by dragging the scaling grips at the edges of the image.
  5. Subsequently, grab the selection box and finalize its position based on your preference.
  6. Tap 'Apply' afterwards.
  7. Following that, click 'Add' to proceed.
  8. After completing these steps, the image in your Buffer post will be resized based on the requirements of the social media platform you want to use for publication.
