This tutorial shows how to reconcile a bank transfer transaction between two accounts directly inside Xero, using the Account Transactions view and the Mark as Reconciled action. The process takes just a few clicks from the Xero dashboard and instantly updates the reconciliation status of the selected transfer.
Steps
- On the Xero dashboard, find and select a bank account to open its transactions.
- Under Account Transactions, locate the bank transfer transaction you want to reconcile and tick the checkbox beside it.
- Tap More to reveal additional transaction options.
- Select Mark as Reconciled from the dropdown menu.
- Click Mark as Reconciled a second time to confirm your request.
- The selected money transfer transaction between your Xero bank accounts will be reconciled instantly.
