Quick summary
This tutorial shows how to push Typeform analytics to Google Data Studio by building a Zap that triggers on new Typeform entries and writes each response as a row in Google Sheets, which Data Studio can then visualize. No coding is required — the entire workflow is configured inside the Zapier editor in minutes.
Steps
- From your Zapier dashboard, select Zap to start building a new automation.
- Click on the Trigger field to select the event that will start your Zap.
- Click Typeform to set it as the trigger application.
- Click New Entry to use a new Typeform submission as the trigger event.
- Connect your Typeform account to authorize Zapier access.
- Select the specific Typeform form whose response data you want to send to Google Data Studio.
- Hit Test trigger to verify that Zapier can successfully pull in sample Typeform data.
- Click Google Sheets to set it as the action application for the Zap.
- Click Create Spreadsheet Row to define the action that will log each Typeform response.
- Connect your Google Sheets account to authorize Zapier access.
- Configure the action details — map Typeform fields to spreadsheet columns — then click Continue.
- Click Test step to confirm the action creates a row in your Google Sheet correctly.
- Once the test is successful, click Publish to activate the Zap and start sending Typeform analytics to Google Data Studio automatically.
