This tutorial shows you how to push Airtable records to a Snowflake data warehouse by building an automated Zap in Zapier that connects both platforms without writing any code. Once published, every new or updated Airtable record is automatically routed to Snowflake in real time.
Steps
- From your Zapier dashboard, select Zap to start building a new automation.
- Click on the Trigger field to begin selecting your trigger event.
- Search and select Airtable as your trigger app.
- Choose a trigger event from the available options (e.g., new or updated record).
- Connect your Airtable account by authorizing access when prompted.
- Map your trigger details and click Continue to proceed.
- Click Test trigger to verify Zapier can pull sample data from Airtable.
- Search and select Snowflake as the action app.
- Select an action event to define what Snowflake should do with the incoming data.
- Connect your Snowflake account by providing the required credentials.
- Configure the action details, mapping Airtable fields to Snowflake columns, then click Continue.
- Click Test step to confirm the data lands correctly in Snowflake.
- Once the test is successful, click Publish to activate your Zap.
