You can organise your channels under sections. Do note that this feature is only available on paid Slack plans. If you're unsure, check with your team admin.
- You need to be on the Home tab to view and manage your channels.
- Navigate to the Channels dropdown on the sidebar and select Create.
- Select Create section in the dropdown.
- Type a name that reflects the section category. (E.g. Resources, Social media, etc.)
- Choose an emoji for easier identification.
- Drag and drop existing channels from your sidebar into the new section.
- Click and hold any channel name within the section.
- You can also drag and drop channels within the section to reorder the channels to suit your preference.
