How to Measure Feature Adoption in Amplitude

Use this interactive demo to learn how to track feature adoption using Amplitude's built-in templates.

Quick summary

Amplitude's Feature Adoption template lets product teams instantly measure how users discover and reach value moments — no custom chart setup required. In just a few clicks, you can configure key events, build a dedicated dashboard, and start tracking adoption metrics in one place.


Steps

  1. Navigate to the left-side panel and click Templates.
  2. Select Feature Adoption from the available template options.
  3. Configure the Events settings tab by specifying the events you want to assign to Feature Discovery and Value Moment.
  4. Click Save As Dashboard in the top-right corner once your event configuration is complete.
  5. Enter a unique dashboard name, choose your preferred storage location, then click Save.
  6. View your completed feature adoption measurements on the newly created dashboard.
