You can integrate these platforms in two ways: sending Customer.io metrics to Amplitude for analysis, or syncing Amplitude cohorts to Customer.io to trigger campaigns.
- On your Customer.io main dashboard, click Data & Integrations in the left sidebar.
- Select Integrations from the submenu.
- Click the Add Integration button located at the top right of the page.
- Scroll down or search for Intercom in the integration catalog.
- Select the Amplitude (Message Metrics) card and click Enable Destination.
- Enter your API key in the API Key field to authenticate the connection.
- Log in to your Amplitude account, go to Settings > Projects, and copy your API Key.
- Hit Test connection to verify everything's working properly before saving.
- Click Save to finalize and activate your integration.
