Quick summary
Making a Figma design interactive requires enabling the Prototype panel and connecting frames with interaction triggers. Once configured, you can present the prototype directly in Figma to simulate real user flows.
Steps
- Open the right-side panel in Figma and click Prototype to switch to prototype mode.
- Find and select the frame you want to use as the starting point of your prototype.
- Hover over the selected frame, click the Add icon on one of its sides, then drag the connection to another frame to link them.
- Configure the Interaction settings by specifying your desired Trigger, Action, and Animation.
- Click the Present button in the top-right corner to launch the interactive preview.
- Input your trigger action to test how your Figma design responds and validate the prototype flow.
