PowerPoint's built-in Equation editor lets you insert properly formatted fractions using the Fraction structure in just a few clicks. This method works directly in the ribbon without any third-party add-ins or manual workarounds.
Steps
- Go to the Insert tab in the PowerPoint ribbon.
- Click the Equation button located on the far right side of the ribbon.
- Click Fraction located at the Structures tab in the Equation toolbar.
- Select your preferred style from the dropdown layout menu.
- Click inside the top dotted box that appears on your slide and type your numerator.
- Click inside the bottom dotted box and type your denominator.
- Click anywhere outside the equation box to return to editing your standard slide text.
