How to Make a GIF in Canva

Steps

  1. Open an existing design in Canva that you want to turn into a GIF.
  2. Click on the photos, shapes, or stickers you want to include in your animated visual content.
  3. Click the Animate button located on the top toolbar.
  4. In the Photo Animations panel, choose your preferred animation style, speed, and direction.
  5. Once satisfied, click the Share button in the top-right corner.
  6. Click the Download button in the share menu.
  7. Under file type, select GIF as the export format.
  8. Canva will generate your GIF and prompt you to download it to your device.
