Steps
- Go to the View tab in the PowerPoint ribbon.
- Click Slide Master located in the Master Views section.
- Click the largest slide at the very top of the left-hand pane to select the master slide.
- Go to the Insert tab.
- Click Pictures located in the Images group.
- Select the image you want to use as a background.
- Click Insert to add the image to the slide.
- Adjust the image dimensions to fully cover the slide background.
- Right-click the image and select Send to Back so it stays behind all other content.
- Go to the Slide Master tab.
- Click Close Master View to return to your presentation.
