Quick summary
Locking elements in FigJam prevents accidental movement or editing during collaboration. Use the lock feature via the toolbar icon, right-click menu, or keyboard shortcut to fix any element in place instantly.
Steps
- Select the element or group in FigJam that you want to lock in place.
- Click the lock icon above the element, or right-click and choose "Lock", or use Ctrl+Shift+L (Windows) / Cmd+Shift+L (Mac).
- Choose between "Lock all" or "Lock background" depending on what you want to restrict.
- The element is now fixed in place, preventing accidental movement or editing by collaborators.
