This guide walks you through integrating Microsoft Teams with Opsgenie using Make.com to automate real-time incident notifications. By connecting these tools, your team receives instant Teams messages whenever Opsgenie triggers an alert or event.
Steps
- Go to your Make.com dashboard and click Create a new scenario.
- In the scenario editor, click the add icon, search for Opsgenie, and select it.
- Choose a trigger to define when your Opsgenie scenario activates.
- Click Create a connection to authenticate Make with your Opsgenie account.
- Go to your Opsgenie account and click Settings.
- Select API key management from the settings menu.
- Click Add new API key to generate a key for Make.
- Choose the required access rights for the API key and click Add API key.
- Copy your new Opsgenie API key using the copy icon.
- Paste the API key into Make, fill in your region, and click Save.
- Edit your scenario by adding the relevant Opsgenie details to configure the trigger.
- In the scenario editor, click the add icon, search for Microsoft Teams, and select it.
- Choose an action from the Microsoft Teams module to define what happens in Teams.
- Configure the workflow mapping to define how Opsgenie triggers result in Teams actions.
- Click Run Once to test the integration and confirm alerts post to Microsoft Teams.
- Verify the setup is complete — your team will now receive automated notifications in Microsoft Teams based on Opsgenie incidents.
