  5. Go to your Opsgenie account and click Settings.
  6. Select API key management from the settings menu.
  7. Click Add new API key to generate a key for Make.
  8. Choose the required access rights for the API key and click Add API key.
  9. Copy your new Opsgenie API key using the copy icon.
  10. Paste the API key into Make, fill in your region, and click Save.
  11. Edit your scenario by adding the relevant Opsgenie details to configure the trigger.
  12. In the scenario editor, click the add icon, search for Microsoft Teams, and select it.
  13. Choose an action from the Microsoft Teams module to define what happens in Teams.
  14. Configure the workflow mapping to define how Opsgenie triggers result in Teams actions.
  15. Click Run Once to test the integration and confirm alerts post to Microsoft Teams.
  16. Verify the setup is complete — your team will now receive automated notifications in Microsoft Teams based on Opsgenie incidents.

📌 Why this matters

Integrating Microsoft Teams with Opsgenie via Make.com enables on-call and DevOps teams to receive automated, real-time incident alerts directly inside their primary collaboration workspace. This eliminates the need to context-switch between tools during critical incidents, reducing mean time to respond (MTTR). By automating Opsgenie-to-Teams notifications, organizations ensure that the right people are alerted instantly when systems fail or thresholds are breached. This no-code integration workflow is essential for teams that rely on fast incident response and centralized communication.
