Use this interactive demo to learn how to integrate Google Forms with Microsoft Outlook.

‍

‍

To establish a connection between your Google Form and Microsoft Outlook, you must generate a sharing link to bridge the two platforms manually. Here’s a simple guide to do that:

‍

  1. On your Google Docs dashboard, click the Main Menu (three horizontal lines) and select Forms to view your active projects.
  2. Click on the specific form you want to connect to your Outlook audience.
  3. Click on the hyperlink icon, then toggle the Shorten link, and click on the Copy button.
  4. Go to your Microsoft 365 main dashboard, and click on Outlook from the left side panel.
  5. Click on the New mail button to compose an email.
  6. Highlight your event title to make it clickable
  7. Click on the hyperlink icon to transform your highlighted text into a clickable link.‍
  8. Paste the copied Google Form link, and click the OK button to finalize the connection.

📌 Why this matters

Connecting Google Forms to Outlook lets you reach your existing email contacts without forcing them to switch platforms or learn new tools. Your recipients can respond directly from their familiar email environment while you still capture structured data in Google's format.

This approach eliminates the friction of asking colleagues to navigate to external survey platforms, dramatically improving response rates. You're essentially meeting people where they already are rather than asking them to come to you, which is particularly valuable for internal company surveys and team feedback collection.
