How to Integrate Freshdesk with Trello

Use this interactive demo to learn how to connect Freshdesk and Trello using the Marketplace Power-Up.

Quick summary

Integrating Freshdesk with Trello lets support teams create and link Trello cards directly from Freshdesk tickets using the Freshdesk Power-Up. The setup takes just minutes and requires installing the Trello app from the Freshdesk Marketplace and enabling the Power-Up on your chosen Trello board.


Steps

  1. Go to the Freshdesk Dashboard and click Marketplace in the top right corner.
  2. Click Marketplace Apps and search for Trello in the search bar.
  3. Review the Trello app pricing ($3 per agent/month) and click Try for free to continue.
  4. Click the Install button to install the Trello app — required for the Freshdesk Power-Up to function.
  5. Click Allow to grant Freshdesk access to your Trello account.
  6. Go to your Trello account and select the board you want to connect with Freshdesk under Your Boards.
  7. Click the three dots in the upper right corner of the selected board.
  8. Select Power-Ups under the Menu tab.
  9. Search for Freshdesk in the Power-Ups directory and click Add.
  10. Click Add again to complete the integration between Trello and Freshdesk.
