In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to connect FreshBooks to Salesforce using Zapier to automate your B2B invoicing. This workflow ensures that when a deal is "Closed Won" in Salesforce, an invoice is automatically created in FreshBooks.
- Log in to your Zapier account and select Create Zap.
- Click Trigger and search for Salesforce.
- Select Salesforce as your Trigger.
- Click the Trigger Event dropdown and select New Opportunity or Updated Field on Record.
- Click Continue to configure your trigger settings.
- Select which data field will be monitored.
- Advance to the next by clicking Continue.
- Click Test Trigger to run a quick test to confirm everything connects properly.
- Click Continue.
- Select FreshBooks as the action app.
- Select Create Invoice or Create Client from the Action Event dropdown.
- Click Continue.
- Finalize field mappings, then click Continue.
