Microsoft Copilot is now built directly into Dynamics 365, meaning you don’t install it as a plugin, you enable Copilot features, assign roles, and make sure your environment supports AI. Here’s how:
- Let's get Copilot up and running in Dynamics 365. Click the gear icon in the bottom-left corner to open settings.
- Now, head to "App Settings" where all the system configuration lives.
- Navigate to "General Settings" and select "Overview" to access Copilot controls.
- Click on "Copilot" and then "Edit Settings" to see what you can configure.
- Select "Advanced Settings" to unlock more granular options.
- Choose "Individual apps" to control Copilot on a per-app basis.
- Pick the app you want to enable Copilot for, this gives you flexibility.
- Click the dropdown arrow next to "Copilot" to reveal the integration toggle.
- Select "On" to activate Copilot. Your team will thank you later.
- Hit "Save" and you're all set. Copilot is now integrated with Dynamics 365.
