How to Integrate Dropbox with Salesforce

Quick summary

Integrating Dropbox with Salesforce is done through the AppExchange Marketplace, where you install the Dropbox for Salesforce package directly into your production org. The entire process takes just a few clicks — from Setup to installation confirmation — and connects your file storage to your CRM instantly.


Steps

  1. Navigate to the top navigation bar and click the Settings icon.
  2. Click Setup from the dropdown menu.
  3. In the left-side panel, click the Apps menu under Platform Tools.
  4. Select AppExchange Marketplace from the Apps submenu.
  5. Click Go To AppExchange to open the marketplace.
  6. Search for Dropbox and select Dropbox for Salesforce from the search results.
  7. Click Get It Now to begin the integration process.
  8. Choose your preferred Salesforce account and click Install in Production.
  9. Click Confirm and Install to proceed.
  10. Configure your preferred access settings and click Install.
  11. Grant Dropbox third-party access and click Continue.
  12. Your Salesforce account is now fully integrated with Dropbox.
