Installing Cursor on Windows 10 or 11 is straightforward. The installer handles the setup of the IDE and can even import your existing VS Code configurations.

1. Go to the official cursor.com website.
2. Click the Pricing button on the homepage.
3. Under plans, choose Hobby to download the Cursor for free.
4. Click the Download for Windows button. This will download an .exe installer file.
5. Locate the Cursor Setup file in your Downloads folder and double-click it to run.
6. Wait for the installation to complete; the application will launch automatically once finished.‍
7. Sign In or create a new account when prompted to enable AI features like Composer and Chat.
