Installing Cursor on Windows 10 or 11 is straightforward. The installer handles the setup of the IDE and can even import your existing VS Code configurations.
- Go to the official cursor.com website.
- Click the Pricing button on the homepage.
- Under plans, choose Hobby to download the Cursor for free.
- Click the Download for Windows button. This will download an .exe installer file.
- Locate the Cursor Setup file in your Downloads folder and double-click it to run.
