How to Install Cursor

Cursor is a desktop-based code editor, so you must download and install the standalone application to access its AI features. It is built on VS Code, making the transition seamless if you are already familiar with that environment.

1. Go to the official cursor.com website.
2. Click the Download button on the homepage, which will automatically detect your operating system.
3. Wait for your installer to finish downloading.
4. Locate your downloaded installer and right-click on it.
5. Click on the Run as administrator from the dropdown menu, and click on install.
