Getting your HeyGen API key allows you to connect HeyGen with external tools like Zapier, webhooks, or custom applications.
- Log in to your HeyGen account and go to your dashboard to access the main workspace.
- Click your profile icon located at the bottom right corner of the screen.
- Select Settings menu from the dropdown list to open account settings.
- Navigate to the API section or developer settings within the menu.
- Click Create API key if you do not have an existing API key.
- Confirm by clicking Create API Key again.
- Copy your new API key and store it securely—you won't see it again.
