How to Find the Transition ID in Jira

Steps

1. On Jira's main home page, go to the top-right corner and click the Settings icon.
2. Choose Work Items from the list of options.
3. In the left-hand panel, click Workflows.
4. Find the specific workflow you want to check, then click the Actions button next to it.
5. Click Edit to open the workflow editor.
6. View the available transitions in the selected workflow — each Transition ID is displayed directly next to its name.
