1. Let's get your joint tax return started. Click "My info" to begin filing together with your spouse.
2. Select "Married" and make sure to mark "Plan to file jointly".
3. Click "Continue" to move forward with the filing.
4. Enter your spouse's basic information—name, Social Security number, and date of birth.
5. Click "Continue" to confirm the changes.
