How to Export Subscribers from Beehiiv

Use this interactive demo to learn how to export your subscriber list from Beehiiv.

In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to export subscribers from Beehiiv.

Log in to your Beehiiv account.
From the bottom left corner, click Settings.
To the left under settings menu, look for Export Data and click it.
Choose Export All Basic Subscribers or Export All Subscribers.
Wait for the confirmation message that your export is being processed.
Check the Historical Exports section or your email for the download link.
Click Download to export your subscribers as a CSV file.

Note: Upon export, it is normal for pending and processing status to take a while. The full export includes more details like custom fields and stats, but may take longer to process.

📌 Why this matters

Exporting your subscribers gives you a complete backup of your audience data and unlocks migration flexibility if you ever switch platforms. Beyond the obvious portability, having subscriber data in CSV format lets you cross-reference with other tools, create custom segments in external marketing software, or build detailed analytics dashboards. You can also use the export to identify subscriber patterns, clean up your list by removing inactive emails, or integrate with CRM systems that require direct data imports rather than API connections.
