Quick summary
You can export epics from Jira to Excel in just a few clicks using the built-in Actions menu on any Jira project list view. Select your epic, choose which fields to include, and download a fully formatted Excel file instantly.
Steps
- In your Jira space, find and select the epic you want to export.
- Click the Actions button in the top-right corner of the screen.
- Choose Export Excel from the list of available options.
- Tick the checkboxes beside the items — such as Fields, Comments, or History — you want to include in the export.
- Click the Export button to confirm and start the download.
- Once complete, your selected epic data from Jira will be fully exported to Excel.
