To enable audit history, follow these steps:
- First, head to 'Settings' to access system configurations by clicking the gear icon.
- Select 'Advanced Settings'. This is where all the administrative magic happens.
- Now, select 'Administration' to dive into system-level options.
- Select 'Auditing' to continue.
- Click 'Global Audit Settings'.
- Check the box that says 'Start Auditing' to enable the feature across your organization
- Also enable 'Audit user access' if you want to track login activity, helpful for compliance and security reviews.
- Select the entity you want to monitor.
- Click 'OK' and that's it! You've successfully enabled Audit History in Dynamics 365. Now, you can track changes and maintain accountability.
