Use this interactive demo to learn how to add a Calendly scheduling widget to your website.

Quick summary

Embedding a Calendly event type into your website lets visitors book meetings directly without leaving your page. You can customize the embed settings to hide event details and cookie banners before copying the HTML code.

Steps

  1. From your home page, navigate to the Event Types tab.
  2. Locate the event type you want to embed and click Share.
  3. Select Add to Website to open the embedding options.
  4. Choose how you'd like to add Calendly to your site (inline, popup widget, or popup text).
  5. Click Continue to proceed to the customization settings.
  6. Adjust your embed settings — to hide your profile picture, name, event duration, location, and description, select Hide Event Type Details.
  7. To remove the cookie notice from the embed, select Hide Cookie Banner.
  8. Click Copy Code and paste the embed code into your website's HTML editor.

📌 Why this matters

Embedding Calendly directly into your website removes friction from the scheduling process by letting visitors book meetings without being redirected to an external page. This improves conversion rates on landing pages, contact pages, and sales funnels by keeping prospects engaged in a single flow. Calendly's website embed supports multiple display formats — inline, popup widget, and popup text — giving teams full control over how scheduling fits their site design. For businesses that rely on booked calls to drive revenue, a native Calendly embed is one of the highest-impact, lowest-effort optimizations available.
