How to Duplicate a Replit Project

This tutorial shows how to create a copy of your own Replit project so you can reuse it as a starting point or experiment without affecting the original.

Note: You need a Replit account and an existing project to duplicate. Sign up at replit.com if you don't have one yet.

1. Sign in at replit.com and go to your dashboard.
2. Go to Projects, locate the project you want to duplicate. Click the three-dot menu (⋯) next to the project name.
3. Select Remix from the menu. 
4. Rename the project if needed, then set it to Public or Private.
5. Click Remix this app to confirm. Replit creates an identical copy and opens it in your workspace, and your duplicate is completely independent of the original.
